  1. Thanks for the GREAT list Andy! I like ZOOM as a wonderful conferencing app! It's similar to Skype but even better IMHO. https://zoom.us

Question: Do you recommend any particular music and file management app, such as SynciOS, TunesGo, AnyTrans or iExplore??

  2. Excellent video. I like Infinit and was using send-stuff-now before but no longer. Evernote is great but I suggest checking out two things – DEVONthink which has unbelievable power but is complex. Also, check out Outliner 3. It's new, flexible and very powerful. Also, instead of amphetamine check out Let Me Sleep. It checks and will keep your computer awake based on preferences and you can set to stay awake. However, a hot computer can cause wear and tear for no reason. This program puts you charge. I use a lot of what you use and agree with your recommendations. If you write, i'd love to hear about it as I'm always looking for writers which are harder to find than you;d think.

  3. More audio production tools that I keep installed are "Hydrogen" which is an advanced drum machine and "Audacity" which is a wave editor and very nice and simple recorder.
Together with Ardour this makes a nice suite of audio tools.

  4. Thank you for a very informative video. You left Audio production out in the cold. I know of an awesome DAW that has a mac version called "Ardour". It will hold its own against Protools or Prologic. Thanks again!
