“FIND MY iPHONE” | How to locate iPhone 6, 5, 5S, 4. 4S from MAC or PC

[NEW VERSION] This tutorial will show you how to set up the GPS tracking feature on your iPhone 4 or 4s and track its location using your PC or MAC, in case you lose your iPhone or your iPhone gets stolen.

This tutorial is the updated version of my previous tutorial on tracking your iPhone from MAC or PC since the “Find My iPhone” user interface on iCloud.com has slightly changed.

PLEASE NOTE: If you’ve already LOST your iPhone and you did not turn this feature on PRIOR to losing it, you will not be able to track it. Sorry.

Learn to prevent thieves from disabling the “Find My iPhone” feature on your iPhone 4 or 4s in this tutorial here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1TrTwXE7n3I

Q: My iPhone was turned off. Can I still track it?
A: No…

  1. How can I unlock that without using the apple ID I bought the phone second hand it was found not STOLEN and I contacted the previous owner telling them that I'm sorry but its in my possession I paid good money for it but they won't take off their Apple ID off the phone -.- which is unfair because I paid money for it like they did but I'm not stupid enough to lose it I shouldn't be penalized for something stupid like this someone please tell ne theirs a way around this because theyre ignorant

  2. I lost my IPad but found it using Find My Phone. The problem is that the IPad now has a message "Find my IPhone Alert" with an OK under it. Nothing happens when I click on OK and I can't turn off the IPad or use it in any way.
How do I get rid of that message?

  3. Then you have to hope that the person recharges your iphone and connects to the internet. If your iphone is running ios 6, then you can go to icloud and request for icloud to send you an email notification when your iphone is found. Good luck!

  4. After restoration, you have to re-sync your iPhone with iTunes. In order to re-sync apps, you must authorize itunes to sync using your apple ID. Open iTunes From the Store menu, choose Authorize This Computer. When prompted, enter your Apple ID and password, then click Authorize. Then sync. Hope this helps.

  5. Your iPod needs to be connected to wifi. If someone takes your iPod and walks away, most likely it'll lose wifi connection. Just cross your fingers that the thief will connect to wifi and will not restore your iPod to factory settings.
