How to get music from your Ipod to your Itunes library!


This tutoiral will guide you through a few simple steps to get the music from your Ipod library into your Itunes library.

Activating ‘View hidden files and folder’s’ For:

Vista- Click start, go to Control Panel. Search for Folder Option’s. Click that. Click the ‘View’ Tab, Scroll down and click Show hidden files and folders.

XP-On the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options.

Click the View tab.

Under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders.

Note To access Windows Explorer, click Start, point to All Programs, and then click Windows Explorer.

  1. THANK YOU! My iTunes randomly erased all my music that wasn't bought from their store. Needless to say I was super pissed off, but I had all the music on my iPod. Your video is a god send! 

  2. ATTENTION!: Outdated: Simply go into purchased and click "download previous purchases" and that will give you a list of all the music you bought both on your ipod and computer. This only works if you bought the music off of itunes and not off of somewhere else (I dont know if you can do that or not)

  4. i have an ipod touch and for some reason i had manged to get the ipod to show the hidden files i have tried that on my new pc but i cant figure out how and on my old pc it was coutned as movable storage when ic onnected it.

    I'm moving house and my itunes has gone down so all my music is on my ipod, I am on window's XP and I am having trouble finding the 'Tools menu in window's explorer' I don't know if i'm being a complete idiot but please could you help me, thanks.
