Library Missing? How to locate the Library folder in Mac OSX Lion / Mountain Lion. In this tutorial I show you too ways to reveal the Library, and how to add it to your favorites, so you can find it later more easily. I produce music with Ableton Live, so the reason I needed to access the Library was to install some VST plugins and Components.

In finder, click on “Go” in the top menu bar, hold Command + Option to reveal Library in the menu items.

You can also press Command + Shift + G, type in or copy and paste ~/Library to the input box, and press Go or hit enter.

The VST/Components plugins folders are located in Library/Audio/Plug-Ins.
